Itinerary
September 6, 2008
MACKINAW CITY
Arrive at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Then catch a connecting commuter flight to Pellston Regional Airport, which is approximately 15 miles south of Mackinaw City. Upon arrival, take a taxi or shuttle bus to Mackinaw City. We will stay overnight in Mackinaw City and have our welcome dinner that evening at the hotel.

MACKINAW CITY - MUNISING
Breakfast at the hotel. We will depart for a tour of Point Iroquois Lighthouse and the grounds. Then depart for a tour of the Whitefish Point Lighthouse, museum and the grounds. We will have lunch at Whitefish Point. Afterwards, depart to take a distant view of the Grand Island East Channel Lighthouse. We will stay overnight in Munising and have dinner at a local restaurant.

MUNISING - MARQUETTE
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Hurricane River to take a tour of the Au Sable Point Lighthouse and the buildings. After the tour, we will head back to Munising for lunch and then visit the Munising Range Lights and the Grand Island Harbor Rear Range Light. We will then depart for Marquette where we will be staying overnight. Dinner at a local restaurant.

MARQUETTE - HOUGHTON
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for visit at the Marquette Maritime Museum and the Marquette Harbor and Marquette Breakwater Lights. Then head to view the Presque Isle Harbor Breakwater Light. Afterwards, depart to visit the Big Bay Lighthouse. We will head back to Marquette for lunch. After lunch, we will head to Baraga and visit Sand Point Lighthouse. We will then depart for Houghton where we will stay overnight and have dinner.

HOUGHTON
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to view the Eagle River Lighthouse. Then head to Eagle Harbor Lighthouse for a tour of the station and the buildings. Afterwards, depart to view the Eagle Harbor Rear Range Lighthouse. We will then head to Copper Harbor Lighthouse. We will board the boat to the lighthouse and tour the lighthouse and all the buildings. Lunch will be in Copper Harbor. Afterwards, depart to view the Copper Harbor Rear Range Light and the Mendota Lighthouse. We will head back to our hotel in Houghton and have dinner at a local restaurant.

HOUGHTON
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to view the Keweenaw Waterway Light and then visit the Jacobsville Lighthouse. We will have lunch in Ahmeek and then visit the Sand Hills Lighthouse. Afterwards, we will head back to our hotel in Houghton and dinner will be on your own.

HOUGHTON - MACKINAW CITY
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Newberry where we will have lunch. Afterwards, visit the Crisp Point Lighthouse. Then we will depart for Mackinaw City where we will be staying for our final night. We will have our farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Breakfast at the hotel. Then take a taxi or shuttle bus to Pellston Regional Airport for flights to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Upon arrival, take flight departures home.
