Tree Point Light Station - 1910

Lighthouse Access

Landing is made in a small bay about 1800' E'ly from tower. Tramway of 30 lb rails 3' gauge with plank walk in center connects boat landing with buildings. Landing can be made at any stage of tide in moderate weather.

 

2500' following tramway which runs in a N'ly & thence E'ly direction.

 

Station is generally in excellent condition, but add'l storage should be provided for water system. New reservoir to be filled when water is pure & clear. Gravel paths around dwelling should be replaced by concrete footwalks.
