Sentinel Island Light Station - 1921

Lighthouse Access

Wharf 20'  x 40'; foundation consists of iron cased concrete piers built on rock; outer face of wharf is at low water line. Steamers can not go a longside.

 

350 feet 128 degrees true.

 

Tram leads from wharf over trestle to shore & at a point 100 ft. from wharf makes a right angle bend & continues to rear of dwelling, then around another bend to oil house. Stiff leg derrick on wharf. Hoist located at 1st bend in track.
