Copper band 1/8" x 1.5" fastened to lantern deck & led down outside into water, there attached to a weight.
Balustrade: top & bottom rails of pipe, 8 pipe stanchions; Gallery, cast iron plates, 13' square. Sheet iron gutter entirely around gallery.
Cast iron in parapet with brass bolt & hinges. Door is 2-fold & sheet-iron lined.
