Fog signal located on end of low sand point projecting about 450' from mainland out into water of Puget Sound in direct line of travel btwn Tacoma & other Sound cities & during smoky or foggy weather is of material assistance to navigation.

Frame building, 56' x 15' with an L 20' x 18' comprising fuel rooms, boiler room and storeroom. A water shed 60' x 40' for catchment of rain water is located near signal
building.
