Posts of gallery railing are of cast iron, with rails of 1" gas pipe - outside gallery covered with sheet copper.
Trap door fitted in floor of lantern, also a door fitted in parapet wall leading from lantern to outside gallery, all fitted with hinges & hooks.
Wood - narrow tongued & grooved boards 1" thick in 2 thicknesses.
Door leading from watchroom into lantern is in a vertical brick walls & fitted with hinges, lock, etc.
