Everything in very neat order.

 

In good condition. The lens perfectly clean in all its parts.

 

Clean outside & inside. Glass chimney free from dust & stains.

 

A specimen examined & found to be free from dust & soot etc.

 

It was free from gummy or burnt oil; was pretty well worn & would soon have to be replaced by
another.

 

Found the burner on a level. Keeper appears to know how to adjust it.

 

It was perfectly clean, free from scratches or stains; but one of the panes was slightly cracked at one of the upper corners.

 

Lens cover was off; was clean & made of white linen. When off the lens it is hung up in the lantern room.

 

There were no lantern curtains.

 

There was no alarm bell.

 

There was no rod lamp.

 

Keeper's dwelling was clean; the paint in pretty good condition. Windows stand in need of shutters or blinds as there are none.

 

They were clean & in good condition.

 

Paint inside of building was in good condition.

 

Glazing is in good condition.

 

A lightning conductor is needed, also a cistern & shutters or blinds to the windows.
