In very good order
Lamp very clean chimney clean & clear. Damper is in good condition.
Oil is clear & in good order for use having been well strained.
Lamp burner free from all substances. Tubes & wicks in proper condition according to instructions & directions.
It was found to be level.
In good condition & clear.
Clean, made of striped linen & not having hooks, is kept folded & placed carefully on service table in lantern room.
There is one set Lantern curtains in good condition.
There is nothing of the kind supplied here.
Lamp in good condition & kept ready for use. Keeper fully understands all that is required about it.
Chimney smokes. In good condition.

Proper steps are used for adjusting these matters.
They are properly fitted, & answer the purpose for which they are designed.
Nothing of the kind came under my observation.
The Lantern lamp is lighted at the Keeper's house by which the Lucerne lamp is lighted in the Lantern room.
Lamp now in use (Franklin) is a self-heater.
Keeper is fully sensible of the importance of the above points & is carefully attentive to them.
Dome of Lantern, coral & balustrade etc. are painted according to instructions. Lightning rod in good condition.

They are of the old style without air tight covers.
Tanks are without covers, the air cocks are not applied to the butts in use.
They all have drip buckets attached & in good order.
Butts are placed upon plank supported by masonry.
They are kept clean as soon as empty.
