Sample examined & found to be free from all objectionable matter. It had not been filtered.

 

It was in good condition free from gummy or burnt oil. The wick was well trimmed.

 

It was level.

 

In good condition clean free from scratches stains or dirt.

 

It was on, clean, made of linen ticking, hung up in the lantern room when not in use.

 

There are 2 sets of curtains put up & taken down at the proper time. Kept in the lower room of the dwelling.
