Lens was in good condition & clean in all its parts.

Found to be clear & clean. It had not been filtered.

There were matches & a lucerne in the lantern room. The Keeper's attention was called to the impropriety of their being there.
The Keeper knows how to use the heater, & is provided w/ one.
Keeper understands use of the ventilators & how to air the bldg.
They were so painted. The lightning conductor was in good order & led into the ground.
