There were matches & a lucerne in the lantern room. The Keeper's attention was called to the impropriety of their being there.

 

The Keeper knows how to use the heater, & is provided w/ one.

 

Keeper understands use of the ventilators & how to air the bldg.

 

They were so painted. The lightning conductor was in good order &  led into the ground.
