Station stands in an artificial embankment of soole stone on bed rock.

About 150 feet.

A board & ribbon wire fence is built on the N line of reservation across neck of land which divides reservation from any other property. Remainder is inclosed by water.

Crib deck at fog signal & small boat landing at dwelling, crib dock at boathouse.

Concrete walk connects dock & fog signal with the dwelling. A wood road weel cleared from dwelling to boat house.

By boat or by rig from town of Detour. Very poor wagon road from Detour to the station.
