Pedestal is an iron tripod flanged to a cirular wrought iron base & bolted to lantern floor. The legs of the pedestal are 3/4" iron rods. A cast iron base is bolted to top of tripod & holds
lens.
Small shelf in each tower is used as a service table.
A Russia iron ventilator pipe is connected to top of lens & extends up into ventilator in roof of lantern.
