white; day mark of horizontal boards bolted to tower frame form a target 20' high x 12' wide at middle - this is also painted white.

Range light guiding into Cheboygan River.
4-posted skeleton, steel tower.
Corner posts are 4" x 4" steel angles resting on 14" x 14" x 1" base plates. Tower has diagonal bracing of 1" tie rods, tightened by turn buckles.

Ladder of T bars on N side & 1 1/4" pipe rounds. Also serves as track for lantern cage.
Pier of brick 4.5' sq., 5' deep is built under each corner post of tower & 1 in middle of tower
base.
Premises are sodded.
Additional deed 5/29/1909. Former site of this tower on Lot 29 now occupied by office of a shingle mill.
