Cheboygan Light Station - 1910

Lighthouse Access

The boat house, 16'x36' in plan is near the fog signal. Landing extends about 200' out into the lake & is built L shape to form a harbor for small boats. Water around landing is about 3.5 feet deep.

 

Landing & boat house are about 225' NE'ly from dwelling.

 

Tower & buildings are in fair condition but are getting old. A new lining has been put in roof of lantern recently. There is quite a large amount of white pine, birch, cedar on the premises, some has fallen down. Board walks in bad condition & should be replaced.
