Lighthouse Access

Supplies are landed on N side of reef just below tower. There is partial shelter. Supplies hoisted out of boat onto reef by Fairbanks-Morse hoist mounted on tram car, which is run out onto reef when needed.

Portable track on permanent concrete piers extends from landing to shore. Supplies hauled up hill to oil houses & tower by air hoist or dist. to dwellings by tram car. There is a portable iron derrick with swinging boom mounted on reef when needed.
