Lighthouse Access

Row boats can land  in ordinary weather. Co. road leading from Empire to S. Slough.  Ferry across the Slough--road  to headland opposite lighthouse; foot bridge from headland-Island 360' long;  lighthouse road from S. Slough to lighthouse needs improving.

 

Beach landing S of lighthouse foot of bluff; wooden steps leading up to site. Distance from Ferry landing to lighthouse 3M; fr. Footbridge to lighthouse 350'.

 

Oilhouse/paint room 9'x16', frame sides & roof galvinzed corr. iron. Frame barn 20'x 30' wooden post foundation. Located on mainland, 600' from dwelling (wh with barn roof). 50' W beach steps old life saving station; 2 small 1-story buildings-mainland/island-formerly aerial rope tramway machinery
