Au Sable Pierhead Light Station - 1910

Lighthouse Access

Keeper has no place to keep his boat except to tie it up to a post on the bank of the river. He complains that boys frequently steal his oars & injure his boat.

 

 

 

Board walk leads down pier to tower & 2 flights of steps lead from pier to platform at end of lamp room floor.
