Lighthouse Access

Government landing on Island, where steamers can & do land several times per day.

 

Down hill about 1/4 mile.

 

Fog bells can be stopped & started by electrical device, switchboard of which is situated in hallway common to both dwellings. Strokes of bells can also be indicated on said board. Wires for system are strung on redwood poles placed outside of roadway.
